We have come to the start of our third month of the school year. October was filled with many exciting moments. Many of our students practiced their running everyday at first recess to prepare for the cross country run at Lakeside Park. Congratulations to all the students who participated and those who came in the top 10.

In October we had our first books and bannock. The grade 2/3 classroom walked over to the nature park with parents and staff to listen to stories and make bannock on the fire. We look forward to doing this regularly throughout the school year.

Halloween was filled with lots of excitement and great costumes. The students, staff and parents took part in the Halloween parade through the halls of the school. The entire school was able to participate in the Halloween Howler put on by the PAC and volunteers. Students made slime, walked through the haunted house, watched a short Halloween film, enjoyed popcorn and cider, completed an escape room, did a scavenger hunt and participated in various Halloween games. Thank you to everyone who made the Halloween Howler a success.

Thank you and we look forward to a great November.
