Did you know that if your family has any Indigenous ancestry you can register your child as Indigenous (First Nations Status or Non-Status, Metis, or Inuit? You don’t need to prove your ancestry via any formal documentation, this is about self-identification for families. Once we have confirmation of ancestry on the school registration form and you would like additional supports from the Aboriginal Education Department, we will share the paperwork with homes to confirm supports each fall.
