Winter Activities Program Information
Our Winter Activities program is taking place Tuesday, January 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2025
Kindergarten and grade one students stay at the school for regular school hours for snow/ winter activities and a cross-country skiing program. Parents are encouraged to come and help with their K/1 child during cross-country skiing.
The Whitewater Ski and Snowboard program is open to students in grades 2-6.
Students in grades 2-6 have a choice of either Whitewater or opting out and staying at the school for winter activities.
DEADLINE: All paperwork for Whitewater regarding students and adults needs to be handed in with full payment for the 4-day program by Dec. 13.

Instructions for ski days:
The bus for the ski hill leaves by 8:45 and returns to the school by 3:30 pm
Students need to arrive at school on the Winter Activity Days by the 8 am bell to drop off equipment going to the Ski Hill.
Student's downhill ski and snowboard equipment cannot go on the bus, so parents need to drop it off at the school before 8:00am and parents need to pick up the equipment when students return from Whitewater at the end of the day, scheduled for 3:30 pm.
The equipment is taken to the ski hill by a parent volunteer driver.
Students in the in-school program can take their regular bus home at 2pm.
Parents are invited to attend the ski days, driving in their own vehicles. Parents are not on the bus. Adult lift tickets and rental equipment are available through the school office, paid for in advance of ski days and paid in full. Rates for parents are $70/ full mountain pass and $42/ Silver King day pass. Adult equipment rentals are $46.00. Parents pick up passes from the designated teacher at the ski hill lodge.
All students are required to bring ski goggles and must have a helmet or rent a helmet as well as have an appropriate jacket, mitts, tuque, snow pants, socks.
1. It is mandatory that sign up be completed by all students, parents, chaperones, and teachers coming to Whitewater with the school by the deadline of Friday Dec. 13th. Sign up forms were sent home and are available at the school.
2. Registration at Whitewater is also necessary for all guests coming to Whitewater, online, minimum 14 days prior to your first visit.
